Mission Critical Upgrades and Expansion

Through years of working in existing Mission-Critical environments the Carlson team has developed a specialized process for safely completing construction activities in an operating data center. This protocol is the cornerstone of Carlson’s ability to deliver highly reliable, cost effective construction solutions for today’s facility needs.

The process is multidiscipline in nature and requires the active participation of all team members including engineering, construction, corporate real estate, and maintenance and operations staff.

We start by defining all project requirements, operating constraints and potential areas of risk. As a team member Carlson leads the effort to develop a plan of action that highlights specific strategies for mitigating risk, defining limitations on work times and alternate strategies in the event of unforeseen conditions. Ultimately a detailed script is prepared that lists step by step all project activities.

All work is completed per a prepared script without disruption to ongoing critical operations.
